We absolutely love sweet little Adelaide! Not only did I get to photograph Adelaide’s introduction into the family but the Ramirezs are dear friends of ours. Happy 2nd Birthday sweet little Adelaide!
This was such a fun shoot! This spot on the Greenbelt is one of mine and Nick’s favorite places to go. I love introducing families with kiddos to this spot because its so wonderful and full of surprise that I can only image how a child would view such a fantastical place. We got to hike, search for bugs, read some books and even get a little wet. Thanks for such a fun shoot guys!

I love photographing families that I’ve known for a long time. Bill and my brother were good friends in high school…which means I’ve known Bill for more than 15 years, which is crazy! His sweet wife, Colleen, and precious baby girl, Caroline, are just simply wonderful! So great to work with you guys for the 2nd year in a row!

There is a time for everything. A time for work, a time for play. A time to serve, a time to rest. Time to be alone and a time to spend days on end with the one you love. Nick and I did just that last week. We spent 5 days driving around the beautiful state of Washington. We fell asleep to the crashing Pacific waves on an Indian Reserve and held hands while we harmonized over 600 miles of highway. I fell more in love with my husband every day, for he is a blessing that I will never fully be able to communicate my thankfulness.
We road trip in an interesting manner. First, I must have my morning tea and My Utmost fix. Once we’re in the car it could be 2 minutes or 40 and one of us will ask to stop. Him to longboard a beautiful hill, me to photograph a breathtaking scene. It would drive most people crazy, and sometimes we let out a long exhale as the other asks to stop for the 10th time in 1 hour…But non-the-less, we stop

and yes we went to Forks…no, not because we are Twilight fans, but because it was on our route to the ocean. AND yes, we went to the beach they shot many scenes in, not because we are Twilight fans, but because it was a beautiful beach and the only place to sleep for miles

LOVE these! Washington is such a beautiful state… and you are such a beautiful couple! 
A few days ago I had the beautiful privilege of photographing a dear friend’s engagements and intimate wedding. She called me a few weeks ago and told me she and her boyfriend were going to get married during the week he was home between boot camp and deployment to serve the U.S. Coast Guard. I was shocked and thrilled for her. Taylor is a beautiful woman of God and I couldn’t have imagined anyone better for her than Carlos. He is strong and humble, wise and meek, admirable and genuine and loves Taylor with all of his being. They wrote their own special vows and I actually teared up as they were exchanged. I had to borrow a few lines that Carlos wrote to his bride and share them with you all…
“The sound of your voice is a gift to my ears, a gift so unique that quenches even the deepest longings of my being, a sound so beautiful that upon first notice, my heart eagerly opens its 4 chambers so it can be nurtured by your heavenly voice.”
